Marco Viscoso

Marco is a strategic finance and risk leader with more than 20 years of cross-functional experience across financial services and hospitality. His career spans FP&A, operational risk management, internal audit, and process transformation, bringing a rare combination of analytical rigor, business partnership, and hands-on operational insight. He brings a deep commitment to transparency, responsible stewardship, and data-driven strategy—capabilities he is now focused on applying within the nonprofit sector.
Prior to joining Knight's Care, Marco held various roles within Citigroup. As a Senior Operational Risk Officer (SVP), he led risk appetite assessments, developed key risk indicators, and partnered with business and operations leaders to strengthen the firm’s control environment. He was recognized for his ability to translate complex risk themes into clear, actionable strategies and for driving data-driven enhancements, including new dashboards that improve monitoring of high-risk processes. As a VP in FP&A, he designed and implemented a centralized CCAR coordination framework, improved planning and forecasting workflows, and delivered executive-level analytics used in strategic decision-making. In Internal Audit, he led global ORM engagements, identified high-impact control issues, and collaborated with innovation teams to develop analytic solutions.
Marco spent nearly a decade in financial planning and accounting roles at PwC and Assured Guaranty, where he managed SEC audits, built enterprise financial models, and supported budget, forecasting, and M&A activities. He also served as a partner in a Brooklyn hospitality business, improving profitability, modernizing operations, and delivering an exceptional guest experience—all of which broadened his operational leadership capabilities.
A Certified Public Accountant in New York, Marco also holds an MBA from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He is now focused on bringing his expertise to mission-driven organizations, where he can pair his financial acumen with meaningful social impact.
