Dr. Arianna Medoro

As Director of Vatican Relations and Global Communications, Arianna Medoro is a dedicated advocate for the power of international dialogue, uniquely informed by the perspective of the Catholic faith. Her work with Catholic and Vatican-affiliated institutions on ethical governance and sustainable care represents the perfect synergy of her professional expertise and her personal convictions.
Currently a contributor to L'Osservatore Romano, Arianna explores Papal teachings through the dual lenses of art history and contemporary social issues. She has over six years of distinguished service as the sole Executive Officer to the Permanent Mission of the Holy See to the International Organizations in Vienna. During this tenure, she was responsible for managing high-level diplomatic relations between the Holy See, the Austrian government, and various international bodies.
Her leadership experience further extends to the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she directed the Language and Culture School at the Italian Cultural Institute in Vienna for over four years. This role was pivotal in refining her expertise in strategic planning and institutional management.
Throughout the course of her professional career, Arianna has collaborated with numerous government agencies to curate cultural events across Europe. Operating on the core belief that “culture is the only human asset that grows, rather than diminishes, when shared,” she has established a proven track record of providing high-level administrative support in complex international contexts.
As a multilingual professional, Arianna leverages her fluency in German, English, and Italian to navigate diverse global environments. She is driven by the principle that communication and sharing are essential for progress – while one may go faster alone, together we go further
